The perfect back work out isn’t as easy as it sounds, but it’s completely doable.

It’s hard to find the motivation to hit every muscle group in your body. With summer happening now, and all things backless and strapless coming out, we thought this week we’d give you 5 exercises to help you tone and strength those hard to reach back muscles.

Try doing these every day (they are quick, easy, and after a few times you might not even break a sweat, however, you will see a difference sooner rather than later.

 

The Superhuman (always referred to as supermans but we changed it up)

These are simple and memorable.

Starting on your stomach lay perfectly flat. Then reach your arms up extending forward, while lifting your legs up at the same time.

Hold for a 5 count

Rest.

Repeat 11 times.

 

Airplane Lunge 

Before freaking out about the word lunge, these are incredibly fun.. and distracting so you don’t feel as much of the burn in your legs, it’s more through your whole body.

Get yourself into a runner’s lunge.

Hold for 2 counts

With your torso glued to the front thigh, raise hands to sides.

Hold for  3 counts.

Repeat 10 times.

Switch legs.

 

Lat Pullover Liftoff (yup, at this point we may just be making up names)

Laying on your back extend both arms above your head.

Locking your elbows by your ears.

Lift arms up above chest.

Hold for 3 seconds

Lower slowly.

Repeat 10 times.
