Social interactions promote self-esteem, a feeling of belonging, and may even provide social opportunities outside of the exercise arena. New friendships and support systems are often formed.
  4. Movement patterns that challenge coordination and motor skills promote neuroplasticity, the development of new neural pathways for mind-body connections and muscle memory.
